Hi, Daddy, O Mighty Person of the universe! Hee hee!
Daddy, You have taught me to establish a covenant with You concerning my ministry by laying the foundation with Your Word.
In Your Word, Daddy, You willed to do many things for us, and I want to establish Your will as the foundation of my blog ministry.
In Your Word, Your will is to give us precious souls to minister to.
"For there stood by me this night an angel of the God to whom I belong and to whom I serve, saying...indeed God has granted you all those who sail with you." Acts 27:23-24
"My Father, who have given them to me, is greater than all; and no one is able to snatch them out of my Father's hand." John 10:29
As You give Paul to be a beacon of encouragement to those who sail in the storm of life, I also ask Daddy to bless me with the nations to be a beacon of encouragement to. I ask Daddy this day to give me all kinds of nationalities. Both various groups of believers and unbelievers--of great guys and great women. If you give me the dogs and cats, I will, ummm, minister Your heart to it too.
I also ask that as You have protected those whom You've given Jesus, these wonderful souls would also be protected and no one are plucked out of Your hands.
Second Foundation Stone, Daddy.
"I am the good shepherd, and I know my sheep, and am known of them." John 10:14
Since it's Your will for us to imitate You, by imitating Christ, I also ask that You give me the blessing of getting to know and be known by those You put across my path. I want to know some of them personally and be their friends.
"As a master builder, I have lay the foundation...which is Christ. " 1 Cor. 3:10-11
"I am the way, the truth, and the life." John 14:6
Dad, since Jesus is the Foundation, and He is the way, I want the blog ministry to be founded on the way. I want the ministry to be the way to heaven for unbelievers and the way to a deeper knowledge of You for the believers.
Jesus is the truth, so I ask Daddy to also give me truths to share with the Body of Christ and the world. And that this ministry will be founded on truth and not false conceptions, misunderstandings or tradition foolishness. Truths that set people free from any hinderance of growing in their knowledge of You.
Jesus is the life. I ask that this ministry is a source of life to all--believers and unbelievers alike. In covenant with You, Daddy, I want this ministry to be a ministry of life and not a ministry of death.
"So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God." Romans 10:17
Since Jesus is the Word that brings faith, and You desire for us to grow in faith,
I pray this blog ministry will be a well spring of faith to the visitors. And that the blogs will be empowered with words that brings faith. You know who will visit this website and which word will generate faith to their heart. I ask that You will give it.
"Christ the power of God." 1 Cor. 1:24
I also want my ministry, Daddy, to be founded on Your power. The power to prosper, and the power to succeed through all the storms of life.
I ask all this, Father, to be included as the 7 foundation stones in this covenant between You and this ministry. No matter what this ministry go through, the 7 foundations will be its strength and will see it through. It will see it through because You are the Source behind it.
This is the covenant, Daddy, that Your son, Tony, make with You concerning this ministry.
Thank You, Daddy, it is done.
